MAPs I (Mindful Awareness Practices) for Daily Living

The MAPs I course is an excellent introduction to mindfulness. This course provides insight into the basics of mindfulness, how to develop a mindfulness meditation practice, and how mindfulness can be applied in daily life. It is also appropriate for experienced practitioners who wish to revitalize their practice. Each weekly class is a combination of education, practice, group feedback, and discussion and is taught in a context of a supportive environment.
The course is six weeks long and meets once per week for two hours.
Tuition: $200 (Student/Senior/UCLA Staff-$165).
